On Oprah's Schools in Crisis show - 2006, it stated that at least 75% of all young, African-Amrericans in prison are illiterate and dysfunctional. It would be nice to prevent them from going into the system in the first place by educating their minds before they are lost to a life of crime forever.

BRIANNA ADAMS is a twelve year-old 7th grade student of the human condition and her mom, PATRICIA PHILLIP-ADAMS, wielding the written craft to enrapture the mind much like an artist wields a brush.
