A story told from a child's perspective is truly how Richard Woods learned the depths of computer technology. A wonderful, delightful adventure of a child gaining valuable insight into where computers truly come from.
Always remember, we invented the computer, the computer did not invent us!"
Suzie asked, "Mommy, where do computers come from?" "Yeah mom, where do computers come from?" echoed Ricky. "That is a very good question.
We learned from the bible in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and on the sixth day, He created man in his own image. We know based on our faith, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the Lord created you and I.
After Adam and Eve left the Garden of Eden, they had to survive by using the strength of their arms and the intelligence that God gave them. In order to eat, they had to hunt for food. They soon realized they couldn't do this by hand. So, using the mind that God gave them, they forged hunting weapons, and learned to make traps.
We as the human race have continued this behavior ever since. We make tools in the hopes of making our everyday lives more convenient and easier. The computer is such a tool.
But Mom, still "Where do computer's come from?"
