Sure, men have tried to press you down, But you’ll just Rise N Shine! Let them haters keep on hating, Keep on rising, while doin’ fine!
If only they knew your destiny, Or even half God’s plan, They’d still be dumbfounded to the core Not grasping why you stand!
Their whispers go beyond the walls Just trying to figure out! Stead of minding their own business, They’re off base without a doubt!
The God within you shields your heart From each stray dart they’ve thrown. That you won’t lose your focus, But, keep propelling on.
Quite A masterpiece God’s making, For, He keeps you on his mind. While you be still, knowing He’s God, Who causes you, my child, to Rise N Shine!
