Book Details

My story directly relates to the Samarian woman in the Holy Bible-in Mark 5 who had an infirmity for twelve long years with a hemorrhage of blood. My issues were not with a hemorrhage of blood but a tsunami of life changing events of emotional hurt and painful setbacks. I struggled with using drugs as a method to ease my pain and the acts of fornication to fulfill my fleshly desires to be loved. The woman in Mark was ridiculed for her issue and was not accepted because of the hemorrhage she carried and an odor that was unbearable to the others. She did not cause her issue, but the problems I had developed were either self-conflicting or from the hands of others. My issues of destruction did not physically cause a stench in the presence of man but in the nostrils of my heavenly Father. My heart has always been to be proven worthy by my God, but I was defiling the temple in which He would reside, and this brought shame and humility to me and those that were connected to me. I knew that I had to do something different in order to be a different person in the eyes of my Lord and Savior. Just as the unnamed woman, I had a little faith that allowed me to grow closer to God and to do everything in my natural power to get a little closer to Him, so that I could be made whole, as she was. It wasn't until I decided to change my mind and activate the little faith that God had given me, to press my way to Him, to receive the touch I needed. It was that touch that changed my issues to victories. Now, I am whole in Christ Jesus!
