In his book, Too Big To Fail, Policies and Practices in Government Bailouts, book editor Benton E Gup, Alan Greenspan was quoted as saying when reacting to the Chrysler bailout over two decades ago, he stated he feared that not "that it would fail (Chrysler), but that it would succeed." According to John Gordon: "History Repeats in Finance Company Bailouts," Wall Street Journal. Greenspan was alluding to the fact that "fear and greed are two compelling forces present in markets."

About the Author

Larry Green

The author was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 1, 1956. He moved to Michigan in August, 197l, and graduated from Allegan High School in June 1975.



The author joined the Armed Forces one month after graduation. After Basic and AIT training in 1975 was later stationed in Nuremberg Germany from 1976-1986. He was discharged in May of 1986. While living in Germany, he worked as a financial consultant rep for K&K financial services company's Nuremberg franchise from 1989 through 1993.



He held various other jobs including Managing a Cafe'. He returned to the United States in 1995. That same year he started his preaching ministry in Tacoma, WA. He received his license to preach in 1996, and ordained on Valentine's Day, February 1997 at St. John Baptist Church, in Tacoma, WA
