Several centuries ago, the Norse deities of all the nine worlds engaged in the cataclysmic war known as Ragnarok, The Twilight of the Gods. Many of the major gods of the pantheon perished in the epic battle and the cleansing of the world as they knew it began. Enter the year 2012 A.D. The world is once again infested with racial and moral prejudices, greed, promiscuity and self-inflicted genocide. The Norse celestial beings who reside high above us have decided once again to destroy the world and its people and reshape it in their immortal image. The only obstacles standing in their way are a powerful and venerable god king as well as a diverse group of high school freshmen infused with the divine energies of the gods. Along their wondrous journey the teenagers discover the bonds of friendship, camaraderie and love. Their youthful preparations and growth are made complete for the second coming of Ragnarok, The Doomsday of Men.

About Marcellus Carrington

Native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and current resident of Henderson, Kentucky is an avid fan of Norse, Greek and Egyptian Mythology as well as comic books and Japanese animation. I decided some time ago to shed some insight on the subject of the Norse Mythos as well as to offer my own personal influences and interpretations of the Nordic scriptures. This being my first book it was no coincidence that I chose Norse Mythology to write about. It is by far my favorite mythology and the Marvel character, The Mighty Thor, my number one comic book character.
