This story is taken from the Bible. It is an overall view of God getting a partner that reveals itself through various books and authors of the Bible. This makes it a story woven in and out of the pages of the Bible in a very subtle way. It also is mirrored in how it has played out in history.

She stood and turned a little and said, “Father, you are wonderful.” When she spoke it woke up Man and he stood up to see what was going on. He looked towards the top and east of the mountain top and there stood the most beautiful shapely being. He was dazzled by the silhouette against the rising sun and the sparkle in her hair. He couldn’t contain his joy and bounded up on top. He was going to run and grab her but couldn’t. He was too awestruck. He stopped, took a deep breath and said, “May I come to you?” She turned to Father and looked lovingly up into his face and didn’t say anything.

About Charlotte Mecklenburg

About the Author

Charlotte Mecklenburg lives in the Northwest and graduated from Eugene Bible College in Oregon with a BSS degree. She also attended University of Washington as well as the University of Oklahoma for linguistic studies.

She and her husband Frank lived in Papua New Guinea with the Faiwol people. While they were there they wrote down the Faiwol language, studied the grammar and phonemic system. An alphabet was established and primers were made. Following this small village classes for adult readers were set up to teach the people how to read.

Frank and Charlotte as a team translated traditional stories, government information for the people and also the book of Genesis and the New Testament for the people. At the present time the government is using these materials in their schools for the Faiwol children.

Since then Charlotte has been studying Hebrew and its culture more extensively with the hope of seeing languages that have New Testaments also have the First Covenant. This would give Faiwol and many languages like them a complete Bible.
