This is Barnes & Noble's answer to Amazon's "Search Inside the Book" program, and it is very similar in terms of functionality and purpose. Books that participate in this program receive a "See Inside" icon next to their Barnes & Noble cover image, which invites potential customers to electronically "flip" through a small section of the book.

Barnes and Noble See Inside Submission Service Option Agreement

1.       Author understands the Barnes and Noble See Inside Submission Service option is a service Outskirts Press will provide to assist the author with submitting their book to Barnes and Noble’s See Inside program. 

2.       Author understands it is the author's responsibility to read and agree to the Program Guidelines of Barnes and Noble’s See Inside here: https://secure.barnesandnoble.com/seeinside/Guidelines.aspx

3.       Author understands that once the Barnes and Noble See Inside Submission Service is completed, it can take 4-6 weeks for the See Inside Feature to appear on the listing for the book on the Barnes and Noble website. 

4.       Author understands that the Barnes and Noble See Inside Submission Service is a one-time service.  In the case of any post-publication revisions that are done on the book, the Barnes and Noble See Inside Submission Service must be purchased again in order for Outskirts Press to submit a revised version of the book to Barnes and Noble.

5.      The Barnes and Noble See Inside Submission Service option fee becomes non-refundable once ordered.
