Traditional
Christmas Tea
by Sharyn McIntyre
Annie O'Neil is an elderly woman who just
celebrated her 90th birthday. She finds herself all alone
on Christmas Eve because of a powerful winter storm. She
spends the evening reminiscing about Christmas Past, days-gone-by,
and a cherished traditional Christmas Tea Party that she
shared with her grandmother while growing up. When she falls
asleep by the Christmas tree, she is miraculously transported
back to her Grandmother's kitchen of long ago, and to the
most amazing Christmas tea party of her life!

Stitch an easy Christmas project for the
children using a combination of quilting and appliqué
stitches. The children will love it! Each day, the child

you'll find: 25 full-size templates for the ornaments on
the Christmas Tree Advent Calendar; clear, easy, step-by-step

SEASON'S GREETINGS
FROM OUTSKIRTS PRESS
The Season of Giving, Part III
As Maya Angelou once said, "I have found that
among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver."
Whether you have the soul of a poet or the tenacity
of a fiction writer, the holiday season is a time to reach out
to those less fortunate. Your spirits will soar and your muse
will thank you. For inspiration, read your work at a local community
for the elderly, volunteer at Big Brother/Sister organizations,
or donate extra copies of your book to shelters and hospitals.
Nothing gets the creative juices flowing like touching another
heart.
Pictured above, Outskirts Press CEO Brent Sampson
and Dom Testa, of the Mix 100's Dom
& Jane Show (100.3 FM), revel in the holiday season
as they donate books to The Children's Hospital for the Education
and Literacy Foundation. Click

The season is also a time to celebrate successes.
Congratulations to all our successfully published authors who
reached their dreams this year. We joined you in celebrating
a wonderful and exciting 2006. During our annual Outskirts Press
holiday party on December 15th, some of us took a moment to
pose for a photograph to wish all our authors a happy holiday.
