NOT ONE, BUT TWO
FREE PUBLISHING PACKAGES AWARDED
The Season of Giving, Part II
Outskirts Press is giving away two free publishing
packages this month. A Sapphire package is being awarded to the
winner of the Holiday Drawing introduced in the last email newsletter.
A Diamond package is being awarded to the winner of the Writer's
Digest 75th Annual Writing Contest.
Congratulations, Mary
Feuer!
Mary is the winner of a free Diamond Publishing
Package, compliments of Outskirts Press, for her grand-prizing
winning short story "House of Fire"
in Writer's Digest's 75th Annual Writing Contest.
As the exclusive sponsor and publisher of the Writer's
Digest Writing Contest Collection, Outskirts Press awards a free
Diamond publishing package each year to the grand-prize winner.
For details about entering next year's contest for your chance
to win a free Diamond package, visit the Writer's Digest website
below.
Don't worry! You do not have to
wait for the winning announcements to start. You can begin (and
even finish) your
publishing process at any time during Writer's Digest's contest
and if you are the grand-prize winner, your publishing package
fee will be awarded back to you (and if you aren't a Diamond you
will be instantly upgraded to one).
Congratulations, Joan Conklin!
Joan (Jo) is the winner of a free Sapphire Publishing Package,
compliments of Outskirts Press. She was the winner of
our Holiday
Drawing and was selected at random from among all the entrants.
When our Director of Author Support, Christopher Kline, called
Jo on the phone on Friday to notify her of her award, the conversation
went something like this:
"Joan? Hello. This is Chris Kline from Outskirts Press.
Guess what? You won!"
"I won what?" She probably thought Chris was a telemarketer.
"You won the free publishing package from the drawing you
entered with Outskirts Press," Chris said. "Congratulations!"
"I did? Oh, that is wonderful! And you publish poetry?"
"Yes, Outskirts Press publishes a wide range of non-fiction
and fiction, including collections of poetry."
"What
about marketing?" Jo asked. She was already thinking ahead.
"The full details of our marketing support is available
on our website, like details about the Marketing
COACH which offers publicity tips, promotion advice and marketing
tactics for years after your book is published by Outskirts Press."
"That sounds so wonderful. Thank you so much!"
