The story takes shape in the lives of an Oklahoma family. It recounts the childhood memories of a young girl and her family. The young girl is now a divorced, single mom. She is a grandmother, aka: Nanny. Her granddaughter, fascinated by her Nanny's story telling, ask her to tell her a story. The theme of the story is one of - Love is measured in the heart, not in dollars and cents - and, "a little is a lot if it's in the right spot." It is a nonfiction story approximately twelve single pages with one or two-line entries. The story is approximately 411 words in length. It is a stand-alone book. It is presented as a pictorial graphic children's book that will appeal to young, old and all ethnic audiences. About Juanita Davis

Ms. Juanita Davis has an honorable mention in ôA Celebration of Poetsö û Showcase Edition û 1998, Poetry Guild. She is a member of the American Theatre Co-op of La Jolla, Ca. Born Juanita McCollister, - no middle name- on August 7, 1958, in Cordell, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in Lawton, OK. Ms Davis is one of seven children born to widow, Mrs. Eula Grayson. Ms. Davis is the mother of three children and has eight grandchildren. She has an AAS in Computer Science, AA(Sociology/Liberal Arts). Her professional career spans from Day Care Provider to Warehouse worker to Adm. Assist.(OA) to Substitute Teacher to Paraprofessional to Author/Pictorial Illustrator. Ms. Davis has served as a Choir Member and Senior Usher. She served as a Representative of the Strings and Orchestra Association. She served as Secretary to the OPEA and Federal Executive Council. Ms. Davis currently resides in Okla. City, OK.
