Burned and unable to swallow, she was in intensive care for several months, then discharged with a grim prognosis. But Darlington survived, only to grow up to face sexual abuse, rape, and domestic violence, plus a variety of serious medical conditions—cardiac problems, knee surgery, and the removal of a large and extremely rare tumor. Due to a medical condition, Darlington actually died and was brought back to life and began her spiritual restoration.

About Ms. Gurmay Darlington; MSW,LCSW
Darlington was born in Guyana, South America; and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She is a single parent and lives with her two children in North Carolina. She has been a Psychotherapist for 20 years; she is also a former Teacher; and CEO of her companies Global Internet Enterprises, LLC and Global International Counseling, LLC. She holds a Master’s of Social Work from Fordham University and a BS in Social Welfare from Adelphi University. She is also a certified special education teacher, a licensed therapist, a certified motivational speaker, and a best-selling author. Ms. Fraser-Darlington is featured in the book The Queens’ Legacy.
She was elected by Cambridge Who’s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership, and excellence in family and youth counseling, writing and motivational speaking.
