I never wrote a book before and never planned to write one. In the beginning I had just I decided to research the 2008 Democratic presidential candidate and the people he surrounded himself with. The investigation led to various conspiracy theories and questions regarding his background. I found it fascinating. I also learned more about our country’s history, governance, and the people who have shaped policy and opinions. I even began to understand some of the events I lived through since the 1960’s which I never questioned before. I learned so much I wanted to share that my daughter suggested I write a book. So without much thought I started. I am not a celebrity or a politician seeking office. I am an American citizen living in Michigan. I am a wife, a daughter, a parent, a grandparent, a great-grandparent, a sister, and a friend. Viewpoints expressed (grandparents always have opinions) are mine.
