A godsend came into my life and urged me to publish my idiosyncratic tales. This support and belief system encouraged me to create a novel and urged others to never underestimate a muse. “Hearing Colors” is a small tale to represent the struggles of a small town. My characters are depicted as a melting pot of euphemisms describing the small town way of life. I have dedicated my main character, Anni Townsend, to my home town of Anniston, Alabama. The town’s name was birthed from its original name of Annie’s Town. Anniston is the backbone of my existence and I will never forget it. Cover art is a Shannon’s Own Design, S’own Design Firm.
