At the Vincente mansion, the fragrance of sweet chocolate fills the air. Seventeen year old Frankie Vincente bites into one of Nanny’s homemade chocolate brownies. “Yum… so tasty,” he says. As he savors the sweet flavor, Red-Headed Kate enters his mind. She’s nice to me at school, Katie is a good friend. But why does Calvin, Chad and Billy bully me? Suddenly, Nanny comes down the long stairway speaking in her British accent, “Dear Frankie your sister is home, she’s pulling up the drive now.” Anna pulls up in her red Mustang convertible looking as beautiful as always. The bully’s get very jealous when she gives Frankie a ride to school on Friday’s. You see, seventeen year old Frankie is a nice young man. He had a scholarship to play college baseball, but due to a sport injury that infected his brain, his doctors sent him back to the ninth grade where he is drastically bullied. Fourteen year-old Katie, who some call Red-Headed Kate due to her gorgeous red hair, does her best to stick up for Frankie. “Stop it, you damn bullies, Frankie has a brain injury!” Katie says. Frankie endures the bullying until things go very wrong. Finally, in a fun and exciting ending, thanks to Red-Headed Kate and a special farm animal, Frankie conquers all in a great triumphant-victory.
