A World Of His Own -IN THE LAND OF THE CREOLES is the story of a young man who as a child was ripped from his family and home during the French Revolution.

He never feels like he really belongs in England, so he returns to France to find that everything he holds dear is gone.

He set out for America determined to build a world of his own where he will truly belong. The story follows eight years of his life, his struggles to build a plantation which will become the most profitable in the territory, and the two women who change his life. One turns his life into a living hell, the other gives him a life as close to heaven as possible.
